Tender Allurance, Jesus is mine.
Tenderly alluring us back to himself, requesting our full focus. Wanting desperately to run His living water into the midst of our desert souls where the junk is that no one knows, not even us. He's the only one that can see the hurt that He needs to irrigate, and because of His great love ... He "allures" us "tenderly" and changes our perception of Him from "master" to that of a personal connection. It's our job to follow Him there. Will you let Him irrigate the unhealed hurts? The answer to pain is in the pain itself, emotionally speaking, and we have to let ourselves feel it and trust that He has every power to heal it and use it to move us into new spaces. He's a beautiful maker.•••
"Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the wilderness and speak tenderly to her. There I will give her back her vineyards, and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope. There she will respond as in the days of her youth, as in the day she came up out of Egypt. “In that day,” declares the Lord, “you will call me ‘my husband’; you will no longer call me ‘my master. ’”
Hosea 2:14-16 NIV
“No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the Lord will take delight in you, and your land will be married. As a young man marries a young woman, so will your Builder marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you. I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.”
Isaiah 62:4-7 NIV
