“He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.” - Psalm 18:16-19 •••
There's refuge in the arms of Love, friend. There's also recognition of the wrong done and the rest of Psalm 18 tells us that it'll be handled by our God who is Love. Hey listen, the wrong that happened to you isn't okay (even if it was done in the name of religion,) and there's a peace that comes like a river in the knowledge that you're loved, protected, and fought for by the same God who made you. Have you recently been brought out of Egypt and into the wilderness? Good, child of God. Your Daddy loves you and He's about to WORK. Rest, Love. Your identity has been settled, you are chosen.
